LOVE SCENE by Baraka Noel ’06

What happens when acting students try to rehearse a love scene? While poking fun at playwrights, actors, students, theater, and life, the play also portrays emotionality as a humorous ordeal that humans must suffer through to be able to interact . . . and positions actors as the worst of the bunch.

Directed by Alan Kline ’07, and featuring Oberlin students Brian Piper ‘07 as Dan, Jessica Bedwinek ’05 as Jen, Nick Aszling ‘07 as Stan, Josh Luxenberg ’06 as Ben, and Aubri O’Connor ’04 as Ann. Jesse Garrison ‘07, Assistant Stage Manager.
